Retreiver Training Class 2009
The Saskatoon Retriever Club offers a class in the Spring to teach owners to train their dogs to be reliable retrievers. The class progresses from basic obedience, to teaching the hold and fetch and to practicing retrieving bumpers and ducks in the field.
This class is very valuable for those training their dog for hunting or participation in working certificate tests, hunt tests or field trials. All dogs must be fully vaccinated, CKC or AKC registered retrivers and must have completed a basic obedience class prior to enrolling in this class. The class will be held at EJ Racing stables (2010 Cartwright Street) from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm on Sunday evenings starting in February -once the snow is gone the class will move outside to the Club grounds.
